Las Posadas 4th Grade Skit

Las Posadas means "the inns or shelters." This Christmas tradition comes from Mexico, and is a reenactment of Mary and Joseph’s search for an inn where Jesus could be born. Mary and Joseph go to several inns when they arrive in Bethlehem, only to be told “There’s no room for you here!” Finally, they find a compassionate set of innkeepers who offer them lodging in their stable. In this skit, the kids celebrated Jesus’ arrival by singing Away in a Manger and sharing a festive atmosphere complete with cupcakes!
