FNO (Friday Night Out)

Friday Night Out (FNO) has been an Our Lady of Grace youth favorite for many years.  FNO is an opportunity for middle school students (Grade 6-8) to spend their Friday nights hanging out with their friends and youth leaders.  FNO meets once or twice a month throughout the school year.  Activities vary including dances, retreats, snow-tubing, concerts, and other social events.  Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend these activities with their youth.  To lean more about any of the FNO events, please contact Bo Schmidt at 952.929.3317 ext 264, and click Here to view the FNO Calendar.

For all FNO events that are off campus please fill out a Parent Consent Form.

Retreats and Service Trips

Our Lady of Grace Youth Ministry also offers high school and middle school students the opportunity to attend retreats and participate in service trips throughout the year.  Our fall retreats, such as Junior High Castaway, MEA getaway and TEC (Teens Encounter Christ), give youth a chance to spend a weekend away from school and other activities in fellowship and prayer.  There are also ski retreats in the winter.

Summers at OLG are very service-oriented.  There are opportunities for youth in grads 6th through 12th to attend mission trips in the United States, Mexico, and even Africa with our sister parishes in Ghana.  If interested, please look for more information about these trips in the fall of each year or contact Nancy Hochschild.

High School Youth Group (Click here for High School Youth Group Schedule, Pictures, Upcoming Events, etc.)

High School Youth Group is the name of OLG's senior high youth group.  It is a Christ-centered group which continues the mission of Christ.  High School Youth Group is open to anyone who is in High School.  Beginning with the awesome worship of the 6:00 PM celebration of the Eucharist, High School Youth Group regularly meets on Sunday's.  Equipped with a great core team of people, the Sunday program may change on any given Sunday.  It may involve hilarious skits, fun games, small group sharing, great music, and is always centered on growing to know Christ better.  High School Youth Group is not a class or a Sunday school, it is a group of people growing together, to challenge and change the world.  High School Youth Group also has great opportunity for fellowship with events such as: open mic nights, movies in the amazing theater in the Youth Room, various other outings, mission trips and retreats.  Contact Nancy Hochschild  for more information.
