The Catholic Watchmen is a movement started by Bishop Cozzens in February as a way for men to come together to learn, share and grow in faith. Wherever you are in your individual spiritual journey, we all need the fellowship and support that can only be provided in community with other men who are also on their own journey of faith.
The mission of the Catholic Watchmen movement is to help men live up to their calling to be protectors, providers and leaders of their families and in the community. To accomplish this task, Catholic Watchmen learn and practice 7 Disciplines that we will unfold during monthly Rallies. Each monthly Catholic Watchmen Rally runs from 6:30-8:30 pm with food, social time, video presentations, and discussion.
As Catholic men, it can become increasingly easy to stay comfortable or complacent in our faith, our relationships and with our prayer life. It can be easy to look across the aisle and say, “I’m doing pretty well. I go to church, I pray sometimes, and I try to stay out of trouble.” But as Pope Benedict XVI said, “The world promises you comfort, but you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness.” Come join us as we respond to this call and come together as men committed to helping each other achieve greatness!
