In partnership with West-Metro

Theology on Tap is a 6-week speaker series held twice a year, once during the fall and once during the spring that West Metro Young Adult hosts in collaboration with their Parish Partners.

Topics focus on faith and contemporary issues that directly affect the lives of young adults. The talk is free, but all are encouraged to support our generous host, Champps. All young adults ages 18-39 are welcome to come join us as we mix good beer with better knowledge!

The spring season of Theology on Tap has ended, BUT don't worry! We start back up again in Fall of 2018- stay tuned for the list of dates and speaker!

Check out what we did for the Spring Theology on Tap!

Come and enjoy an evening of faith and fellowship! Invite your friends! All young adults ages 18-39 welcome!

April 17th-"How 21st Century Technology Has Changed  Nothing and Everything About Evangelization"

Speakers: Eric Klein & Brian Kusek
The Passing Currents Podcast Boys will discuss what they've learned about 21st century evangelization through the production of their podcast. Technology has provided us with better tools and resources for evangelization than ever before in human history--and, being better equipped for the call, we have a greater responsibility to respond to the call. Still, these advancements have ultimately not changed the heart and most important element of evangelization: namely, the important of evangelizing through genuine human relationship.

April 24th- "Stop Volunteering - The Call to Stewardship"

Speaker: Fr. Brian Park
Christians and non-Christians alike are called to be stewards. It is not a call to "volunteer" our time - every moment of our life is meant for stewardship to the world around us. Whether it be time, talent or treasure, we are tasked with the awesome responsibility of caring for God's creation in our short time here. While young adults aren't always blessed with an abundance of wealth (and some are blessed with even less talent!), we ARE blessed with an abundance of free time!

May 1st- "Grill the Priest"

Speaker: Fr. Joseph Johnson
Fr. Johnson will be in the 'hot seat' on May 1st to answer any and all questions you may have on the Catholic faith! We'll collect your questions throughout our Theology on Tap series, and be sure to add any that pop up from what you hear this spring!

May 8th- "Theology of the Body"

Speaker: Nic Davidson
Join us for this illuminating talk on the Theology of the Body. Nic will discuss his favorite points, and how St. Pope John Paul II's words apply to each of us and our relationships with our fellow man.
