LifeNight's are a mixture of faith and fun, and are open to everyone who is in high school! Each LifeNight has a fun game, a testimony or teaching about a different topic of our faith, discussion, and closing prayer.

At LifeNights you will be able to talk about a variety of issues and experiences with friends and young adult leaders so that together you can grow in faith and discover how a relationship with God will help you have the best life possible! This is an incredible time to connect with friends and God in the midst of our busy lives. See more.....

Have you heard about Gabri MacInnes?

Gabri’s Story

This last LifeNight that we had was especially awesome because we got to hear from Gabri, an OLG School and Youth Ministry Alum. She came to share her story about vocation, and encouraged us all to search for what God is calling each of us to do! Keep checking back here as we update you on Gabri’s Journey!

Each vocation is a Miracle for the Church… some of these Miracles need your help to be realized.

My fellow Labouré Aspirants and I are raising funds to deliver our class of future priests, sisters and brothers into formation for the priesthood or religious life. With the gift of advanced graduate education this class brings to their religious institutes comes a large collective vocation blocking obstacle of student loan debt. This class would need to raise $1,700,000 dollars by December 31st for all of us to enter formation next Spring.

As a step toward this goal, each Aspirant like me is asked to raise the average Labouré Aspirant student loan debt of $60,000. Many of us have loans greater than that amount and may require participation in multiple classes to merit an award large enough to mitigate our student loans and enter formation.

My fellow Aspirants and I are grateful for your generous support. In making our vocation possible you become part of our gift to God. Please know you are and will remain in our prayers of gratitude. Please don’t hesitate to contact me or the staff of Labouré with any questions.
God Bless you!

We went to Mass every Sunday and my mom taught us everything she knew about the faith. I attended a private Catholic school from kindergarten through eighth grade and attended a public high school. I then went to a Catholic college." to read more about her story go here  AND more importantly how to help her go here

LifeNight Wrap-up! October 3rd

Last night was our SECOND LifeNight of the year!  We opened up the night by playing one of our favorite games- Word Smoothie! You can see all of the fun we had above! We then entered into prayer with Lectio Divina using Ecclesiastes 3:1-9 "Everything Has Its Time". We then watched a video from Father Mike about what it means to LIVE in the present moment. During small group we really went into what it means for us to live in the right now. Check out our questions below!

- What stage of life/season do you wish you were in? Why?
- What stage of life/season are you in RIGHT now?
-What is it like for you to be patient? Is it easy, hard, don't really notice it? Why or why not?
- What is your work of the day? What does God want you to work on RIGHT now?
- What do you think about the "Sacrament of the Present" moment?

Ecclesiastes 3:1-9 Everything Has Its Time
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break  down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate;a time for war, and a time for peace

LifeNight Wrap-up! 9/26

Last night was our FIRST LifeNight of the year! It was great getting to meet everyone AND get some amazing cupcakes! For our first LifeNight we learned about who Pier Giorgio Frassati was- we watched a great video about getting to know him and then entered into some small group time where we went over these questions:

- If you had to describe what/who a Saint was... how would you?
- What Saint do you most identify with? Don't have one that you identify with? Why?
-Frassati often said that he wanted to "Live, not exsist." He wanted to live in a full way, because he knew that God made us to go to the top. What do you think about that?
- Frassati lived his life in surrender. Surrendering to his family. Surrendering to God.  What does it mean to you to surrender How do you surrender to God in your life?

LifeNight Wrap-up: April 18th

Yesterday's LifeNight was hilarious. We began the night with some quality prayer, and AMAZING video by Father Mike about what it means to "prepare" for Mass, Franske came, and then we have some impromptu speeches! It was fantastic- you all did a HILARIOUS and super wonderful job of answering on the spot "Would you rather's" with the focus of Jesus.

In our small group we asked ourselves:
1- How do you feel about public speaking?
2- How do you prepare for school?
3- How do you prepare for Mass?
4- What is one thing you are going to take away from tonight?

We challenge you through the upcoming weeks to prepare yourself for Mass throughout the week!

God bless! Veronica

LifeNight Wrap-up: April 12th

Greetings everyone!

Yesterday's LifeNight was AMAZING! Just getting to run around, play games, and hang out in a parachute were just what everyone needed! ESPECIALLY because this winter just won't end!

One of our challenges to you in a previous LifeNight was to pray the Divine Mercy Novena- Even though Divine Mercy Sunday was LAST Sunday- I still want to encourage you to this great devotion!

God bless!
