Reflection Questions

1. From which gospel do we hear today? (Luke)

2. What do we celebrate at Mass today? (The Third Sunday of Lent)

3. What kind of story does Jesus tell in today’s gospel? (A parable, a story that teaches a lesson)

4. What kind of tree was planted in the orchard? (A fig tree)

5. What does the gardener say to the orchard owner when he wants to cut the tree down? (Leave it and I will take care of it, “it may bear fruit in the future.”

6. What does it mean me when Jesus tells us to repent? (Turn our life back toward God, ask God to help us make better choices, be good to others)
