Stewardship Renewal Weekend – Living Lives of Magnanimity for the Glory of God!
Together as one community on the weekend of September 16 and 17 we will celebrate the renewal of our covenant to live a stewardship way of life. Materials for this weekend have been mailed to each registered parish household.
You are invited to spend time in Prayer with Jesus, share your talents and charisms in Service, and generously gift the “first fruits” of your labor through Tithing by renewing your Stewardship Covenant. Utilizing the stewardship brochure, “STEWARDSHIP – Living Lives of Magnanimity for the Glory of God” as a guide, please prayerfully consider your pledge to our parish family. Please complete a separate Stewardship Covenant Card for each household member who is making or wishes to make a commitment. Last year, more than 370 parish households returned a covenant card. This year we would like to double that number!
Your Covenant Card will be offered at the altar as part of the mass during this weekend. Covenant cards may also be returned in the collection basket, in the basket located in the commons, to the parish office, or by mail if you are unable to be with us on September 16 and 17.
Every parishioner and/or household who returns a Covenant card will be contacted with additional information and follow-up actions regarding prayer, ministry service, and tithing options. In addition, in acknowledgement for your commitment, a Gratitude card will be posted in your honor on the Divine Mercy wall in the church commons. Let’s cover that wall with our generosity as we strive together to live lives of magnanimity for the Glory of God!
