Christmas Tree Lot Recap


The mission of this fund raiser is to create a joyful and uplifting experience when our customers purchase their Christmas Trees and accessories at the Tree Lot.  It’s more than selling Christmas Trees and accessories!  It’s a venue to build a network of Mens Club relationships, evangelize our faith-collect food and clothing for the needy, and provide financial resources to fund some of our OLG School Athletic Field expenses and provide charitable donations to key Twin Cities charities.

16th consecutive year—Another Record Year! 

  • Over 250 Members of the OLG Mens Club volunteered
  • 1,831 Trees Sold
  • 275 Christmas Wreaths sold
  • Collected more than 2,500 clothing articles (Mens and Women Winter coats, clothing apparel, infant clothing, gloves and boots). Clothing distributed 2-3 times per week to Sabathi Family Center-Philips Neighborhood; Harriet Tubman Center-Philips Neighborhood; Sharing and Caring Hands
  • Collected more than 500 infant outfits (distributed to Cradle of Hope and Family Crisis Center)
  • Collected more than 100 boxes infant diapers (delivered to Cradle of Hope charity)
  • Collected 1,200 diapers (delivered to Family Crisis Center- South Minneapolis)
  • Food donations (collected and delivered to St. Louis Park Emergency Program (STEP), Sabathi Family Center and VEAP).
  • Over $50,000 raised!

Donations are directed to Cradle of Hope, Sharing and Caring Hands, Christo Rey Jesuit High School and OLG School Athletic Field expenses and other targeted charities.
