Jaspersen, Joan P. (Armstrong) Age 72 of Edina passed away April 29, 2019. Preceded in death by loving husband of 45 years, Thomas; mother, Kay Armstrong; survived by sons, Dan (Amy), Joe; grandsons, Michael and Jack; father, Warren Armstrong; brother, Jim (Peggy) Armstrong; sisters, Pat (Hank) Solms, Sue (Vince) Loeffler. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Joan was born and raised in Northbrook, IL. She attended Regina Dominican High School in Wilmette, IL and Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, where she met the love of her life, Tom. Shortly after marriage, Tom and Joan moved to Edina to start a family. Joan was very devoted to her sons' sports and school activities. She was always the life of the party and the first on the dance floor. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be deeply missed. Rodekuhr, Judith A. Judy was born December 15, 1942, in Thief River Falls, MN. She succumbed to her four-year battle with cancer on April 20, 2019. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Cyrilla Rodekuhr (nee Reller); brother, Michael. Survived by many cousins. She graduated from Normdale College with a degree in Nursing. For forty-plus years her devotion to faith and desire to serve humankind guided her work as a rehabilitation nurse. The majority of those years were spent in the Minneapolis area. Judy loved animals, especially dogs. Her interests included travel, gardening, and staying in touch with her extended family and friends. She was an active member of Our Lady of Grace Church. Krygowski, Raymond V. 96, formerly of Posen, IL., died Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Friendship Manor, Shakopee, MN. Born to Anton and Victoria Krygowski in East Chicago, IN. Ray is survived by his beloved wife, Sylvia (nee Hadhazy); children. Bruce, Gail (Don) Derrow, Marcia Evans (Bill Dubbs) and grandchildren, Alexis, Adrian, Nick, Lindsey, Brad, John, and James. A World War II Marine veteran of the Guam Campaign, Ray served in his later years as Commander of the American Legion Post in Posen, IL. Ray was a well-known figure in Posen as owner of Ray's Barber Shop where he could be counted on to dispense his wit and wisdom liberally, all while practicing his skills as a "tonsorial artist." One of eleven, Ray is also survived by brothers, Arthur and Victor and sister, Virginia. Connell, Helen Hay Passed away peacefully on 3/28/19. She was predeceased by husband Ric, daughter Kate Kurimay (Jim), infant son Peter, brother Wayne Hay, grandsons TJ and Spencer, and son-in-law Dick Bowman. She is survived by children Terri Bowman, Tom (Peggy), Anita Whims (Mark), Jenn Houle (Leon), Lisa Flood (Mike), and Tim (Gina), son in law Jim Kurimay, together with 5 nieces and nephews, 39 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Happily married to Ric for 69 years, Helen was a gracious, generous, loving, devoted, clever and funny wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will always be remembered for her spunk and sass. Her family greatly appreciates the loving care taken of her by the excellent staff at Rue de France, Jones Harrison in Minneapolis. This year we are collecting items for the residents of Haven Housing, which provides shelter for victims of abuse. Please mirror God’s generosity by bringing an item for these families as they seek to rebuild their lives. They especially need winter gloves for children, flip flops, ear buds, lotions, bath/lotion sets, full-sized toiletries, and new twin-sized sheets.
Parishioners are also invited to assist the Middle School Service Club (MSSC) with a service project in the Dining Room from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Raidt, Eleanor Della (Langford) Eleanor ("Lennye") Raidt, SFO & WWII WAVE (naval nurse), passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on March 19, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jerome G. Raidt, parents John and Marie Langford, brother Bernard, sister Elizabeth Costello, and eldest daughter Mary Taylor.
