My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
— John 10:27

Stewardship is a spirituality that builds a way of life, living what Jesus teaches us. The Bible, the Word of God, is the textbook and Mass is the classroom for stewardship spirituality. Through the Word of God, God speaks to us and we listen. The Latin root for listen literally means “to obey”. So, if we truly listen, we will not only hear God but also follow Him. Stewardship is how a disciple responds when invited by Jesus to follow Him. Pray this week to live as a disciple and respond to God’s love with a heart filled with gratitude - to live a stewardship way of life.
