Sunday Readings: Prv 8:22-31/Ps 8:4-9/Rom 5:1-5/Jn 16:12-15
As advocate and guide, the Spirit, also sent by the Father, continues to teach what Jesus himself had taught, showing a mutual ownership by Father, Son and Spirit, of everything that is taught. The intimacy that Jesus shares with the Father and Spirit provides an early glimpse into the mystery of the Trinity, the feast we celebrate today. In the Eucharist we’re invited to share in that mystery as well. In prayer and thanksgiving for truth, may we give glory to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
