Tuesday, March 10Contemplative Prayer Learn how you can use The Daily Examen of St. Ignatius Loyola to develop a practice of contemplative prayer and enhance your examination of conscience prior to confession this Lenten season.

Wednesday, April 15 The Healing Mission of the Church with Father Nick Come hear from our very own Father Nick!  He will present on the healing mission of the Church, and how we are called to live that out communally and personally.  The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, Last Rites, and the Apostolic Pardon are all available to us at critical times in life and when we are near death. Father Nick will discuss when it is appropriate to make these requests for ourselves or on behalf of our loved ones, the graces we receive for healing, and how we can more deeply unite our suffering to Christ.

Wednesday, May 20 Discover Purpose for your Next Chapter Consider this your invitation to pause, reflect, and intentionally inspire your next chapter. Whether you are approaching retirement or already in it, this season of life offers more than rest—it offers renewal, purpose, and deeper meaning. Together, we will explore the unique purpose God has woven into your life, reflect on the gifts that have shaped you, and uncover the legacy you are meant to leave in this world. Through guided reflection and conversation, participants will gain greater clarity and peace as they align their next chapter with God’s design—moving forward with confidence, intention, and a renewed sense of calling.

Presenter Laura McGill is a former corporate sales leader turned Pivot with Purpose Coach, guiding individuals to discern their ideal next chapter, create a meaningful plan, and receive the support and accountability to follow through. Her work is rooted in the belief that God’s calling continues to unfold in every season of life—and that the next stage of life does not signal an ending, but an invitation. Laura is an active OLG parishioner, Stephen Minister, and Small Group Leader, and is passionate about helping people live with purpose in a God-centered way. She is married to her husband Tim, is the proud mom of her 7th-grade son at OLG and her daughter who graduated from OLG last year. In her spare time enjoys cheering them at hockey games, doting on her Bernese Mountain Dog, and spending quiet time in prayer.

I want to thank you for such a nice outing yesterday to Cosetta’s and the St. Paul Cathedral. It was so nice to have such a warm group of people and so informative on my first visit to the Cathedral. Thank you again for organizing a great day, as time goes on I hope to participate in more adventures!

“We greatly appreciate the extensive planning and attention to detail involved in organizing this trip. As a result, we were able to focus solely on the beauty of the moments in each sacred space and enjoy the company of other OLG parishioners.”
