The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work by John Gottman

The series will be led by Lori Brumbaugh. Reading or purchasing the book is not required. Dinner and drinks included for all dates. Childcare provided on June 4 and July 16 only.

BAM-Tacos and Trivia Date Night

Trivia Mafia is returning to host bar-style trivia featuring 6 rounds of general knowledge trivia. Tickets include a taco dinner, beer, margaritas, and childcare (capacity of 65 children; must be over 12 months old). Trivia winners will receive gift cards to use on a date night at a local restaurant!

Celebrate Marriage Night 2024

8th Annual Celebrate Marriage Night

Mark your calendars, book your babysitter and join us for an enriching date night with your spouse.

This event will include Mass with a special marriage blessing followed by dinner and a presentation from Pat and Kenna Millea on the calling of marriage and how to prioritize connection with God and each other. The Milleas are the founders of the Martin Center for Integration and hosts of the This Whole Life Podcast.

Cost is $50 per couple or $25 per newlywed couple (for those married 5 years or less).

Love is in the Cards Date Night

Take some time to invest in your marriage with a date night of fun and games! Couples can enjoy heavy appetizers, beer, wine, and cocktails while testing their luck at the Casino tables. Las Vegas Tonight will provide a full casino experience with Texas Hold ‘Em, Red Dog, Pit Boss, Black Jack, Let it Ride, Pokerlette, and Beat the House. Plus, couples will have the chance to win special door prizes! Come dressed in cocktail attire (sequins admired)! Don’t miss this chance to have fun and win big with your spouse!

Join Created to Believe: Called to Motherhood: A Catholic Small Group for Mothers of Young Children.

Oktoberfest Date Night

Our Oktoberfest celebration is back and better than ever! Come dressed in your best German attire for a night of festive autumn fun. Couples can dance along to live music from Schell's Hobo Band, enjoy a delicious German dinner buffet, beer, and apple cider mocktails. Childcare will be provided during the event and couples will have a chance to win fun door prizes. $30/couple.

Spring Landscaping at the PES Convent

Join the Mens' Club as we help get the frontyard to the convent dialed in - finishing the front irrigation system, leveling the yard, replacing a retaining wall and lots of planting are just some of the things we have going on. Come for half a day, a full day or multiple days! And be sure to stay for lunch. Spouses, children, besties and significant others are welcome as well. It's good exercise, great service work and awesome fellowship. Can’t wait to see you there!

Join Reigning in Life: Becoming Provider – A Catholic Small Group for Husbands and Fathers

Do you ever wonder if you have what it takes to lead your family in faith?

"For if, by the transgression of one person, death came to reign through that one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of justification come to REIGN IN LIFE through the one person Jesus Christ." Romans 5:17

What does it mean to Reign in Life through Jesus Christ? Is it something more than just attending Church on Sunday? Is it more than making it through life and just sneaking into heaven by the skin of our teeth? This 4-year formation series for men seeks to discover what the invitation of the Gospel, the invitation of the Church, has to offer them as sons of their Heavenly Father and in their vocation as husbands and fathers. Reigning in Life is vocational school for family life.

Groups meet twice monthly starting October 2022 through March 2023 at Our Lady of Grace. Cost is $60 per participant. For more information, email Kory LaCroix.
