Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Help us to spread the glory of Your Son through Perpetual Adoration.

Prayer Resources for Adorers

In addition to the prayers and other library resources provided in the bookshelf in the chapel, there are many excellent resources from prayers online.  Here are links to a few of them from EWTN.

Prayers for the Expansion of Eucharistic Adoration at OLG

Please join us in praying for the continued growth of adoration here at OLG. Our ultimate goal is to return to perpetual adoration so that the chapel may be open 24/7 (except during Masses, planned closures, and weather emergencies).  OLG has had perpetual adoration in the past, we can do it again!  We want as many people as possible to experience God’s outpouring of love and grace through adoration.  The greater the availability of chapel hours, the more people can be blessed by these graces, peace, and joy. Come, Holy Spirit!

+ Novena to the Holy Spirit

A Novena is a form of worship consisting of special prayers on nine successive days (the word novena comes from the Latin novem, meaning "nine.")

We invite all adorers and all members of the OLG community to say a special Novena (by EWTN) – which may be started at any time and said individually – for the intention of spiritual fruits of our ongoing adoration chapel outreach efforts. We pray that the Holy Spirit may move many hearts to become committed adorers of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.

We recommend the following form of the Novena for these intentions:

1. Sign of the Cross

2. Intention

We pray for the spiritual fruits of the adoration chapel outreach, that the Holy Spirit may move many hearts to become committed adorers of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.

3. Opening Prayer

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created, and You shall renew the face of the earth. O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

4. Scriptural passage

  • Day 1: Joel 3:1-2
  • Day 2: Isaiah 44:3-5
  • Day 3: Ezekiel 11:19-20
  • Day 4: Ezekiel 36:25-29
  • Day 5: Ezekiel 37:1-14
  • Day 6: Isaiah 11:1-4
  • Day 7: Isaiah 61:1-3
  • Day 8: Romans 8:11-18
  • Day 9: Acts 2:1-5

5. Closing Prayer

Come Holy Spirit, renew your wonders in this our day, as by a new Pentecost. Grant to your Church that, being of one mind and steadfast in prayer with Mary, the Mother of Jesus and following the lead of the successors of Saint Peter and the Apostles, it may advance the reign of our Divine Savior, the reign of truth and justice, the reign of love and peace. Amen.

+ Prayer for the Spread of Perpetual Adoration

Based on the prayer written by St. Pope John Paul II

Please join us in adding this prayer to your daily prayers, that we may eventually be able to offer perpetual adoration at Our Lady of Grace (the availability of the adoration chapel 24/7, except for Masses).

Heavenly Father, increase our faith in the Real Presence of Your Son Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. We are called to console His Sacred Heart, to adore Him, to give Him thanks, to ask for His grace and mercy. We need Your peace in our hearts and among our brothers and sisters in the world. We need conversion from our sins and Your abundant grace. May we obtain this through prayer and our union with Jesus in the Eucharist. Please send down your Holy Spirit upon all peoples to give them the love, faith, and courage to respond to Jesus’ invitation to Eucharistic adoration. We ask You to spread perpetual adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament in parishes around the world. Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament, we entrust this intention to you in the Name of Jesus, our Lord. Amen.
