O'Connell, Claire (Erickson) 91, of Edina, died peacefully on January 23, 2022 surrounded by family. Claire was an active member of the Women’s Club of Minneapolis, WAMSO (Minnesota Orchestra Volunteer Association), and a lifelong volunteer at her church, Our Lady of Grace. She was an avid tennis player and could always be found on the court or the veranda at the club with her close friends. We will miss her wit and charm. She is survived by her children Tom (Janice), Brian (Patti), Dan (Lisa), Kathleen Sereda (Gorden), and Karen Wheaton (Chris). Also survived by her 8 grandchildren Katie, Kevin (Sara), Jenna, Lindsay, Ryan, Christopher, Siobhan, Teagan, and great grandchild Ada. She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy and son Tim (Jim).
Mass of Christian Burial February 2, 2022, at 11:00 am Our Lady of Grace Parish, 5071 Eden Avenue, Edina, MN. Visitation one hour prior to Mass. Interment Lakewood Cemetery.
