Marlene surrounded by John and family, Marlene K. Feddema (nee Kolles) peacefully entered eternal life on February 22, 2025 (age 84).
Marlene was the devoted wife of John for 63 years and the caring mother of John (Jodi), Lisa and Tom. She was proud of her grandsons Rick (Mattie) and David (Erin) and especially happy about her great grandchildren Ethan and Hailey. Marlene was pretty, amiable, generous and easy to live with. John considered her the perfect wife.
Marlene graduated from the St. Cloud School of Nursing as a RN and was an excellent nurse who loved her patients as they loved her. John and Marlene had a home in Edina for 42 years and moved to San Antonio, Texas when John retired at age 72. They then lived in hotels since then and traveled north for five months in the summer and two months to Florida or Palm Springs in the winter. Marlene always felt blessed because she was lucky in love and generally just a lucky person. Marlene is survived by her brother Bert Kolles.
Marlene will have a Christian Mass and be buried in the family plot at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.
