Kasey Devine

Kasey and his wife, Erin, joined Our Lady of Grace in 2021, shortly after Kasey entered the Catholic Church through the Easter Vigil. Since then, OLG has been at the heart of their family life, and they’re joyfully raising their daughter, Caroline, in the faith. Kasey serves as a small group leader for a Cana Family Institute men’s group and is an enthusiastic volunteer with the OCIA (formerly RCIA) team, walking with those exploring entry into the Catholic Church.

He brings to the Parish Pastoral Council a deep love for the Church’s liturgical life, a passion for evangelization, and a strong desire to help families stay rooted in truth amidst a secular culture.

Professionally, Kasey works in the HR technology and outsourcing space, supporting businesses and teams through operational challenges. A devoted husband and father, he is honored to serve the OLG community and contribute to the life of the parish.

Chris Dougherty

My family—my wife, our 13-year-old son, and I—joined OLG in 2017, and we are deeply grateful to be part of such a welcoming, vibrant, and supportive parish community. We enrolled our son at OLG School at the start of 3rd grade, and he will be entering 8th grade this fall.

I try to serve the parish and school whenever I can. I am a lector at the 9:30 AM Mass (and occasionally at other Masses when our son is altar serving), and I’m also an active member of the Men’s Club. I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve on the Parish Council.

I was born in New Jersey and raised in Connecticut in the Ukrainian Catholic church. I earned my undergraduate degree from New York University and my law degree from George Washington University. I practiced law for ten years—first in Washington, D.C., and later in Minneapolis—and I currently work for a commercial insurance company.

Heather English

My family joined OLG 9 years ago after moving from SW Minneapolis to Edina (with a quick stop in Dallas, Tx). Growing up Catholic, I knew that bringing my faith to my family was very important to me. My husband, Ross, supported this and throughout our marriage church and faith have been a part of our daily lives.

Our three children attend Edina Public schools and have been part of Sunday School, Faith Formation, Encounter, and High School Youth Group as well as OLG VBS and Extreme Summer Camp. Ross became Catholic through

the OCIA program a few years ago. I participate in a wonderful multi-generational women’s small group that grounds me in faith and allows me to gain wisdom from so many wonderful women.

I am entering my 7th year teaching in the faith formation program. I’ve spent many years teaching 4th grade and find joy in this age of kids because they start asking great questions about their faith and I want to show them that their faith can be a foundation for them as they grow into their own selves.

Before choosing to stay home to raise our children, I worked as an academic advisor at the University of St. Thomas. I serve in many volunteer roles with Edina Public Schools.

My wife Rosemary and I have been members of OLG for approximately 35 years. We are both retired and have two adult children, a wonderful son-in-law, and three wonderful grandchildren. We are currently involved in many of the programs being offered at OLG; Sacristan Ministry, Eucharist Ministry, Communion to the home bound, D-Group, and Sharing and Caring Hands, to name a few. We also distribute all the food and clothing donations. We do this to give back what the OLG Community has given us (many prayers answered). OLG is a very important part of our lives. The OLG Parish Council is a very vital part of our parish, and I am thankful to be a member.
God Bless, A Brother in Christ, Bud

Chris Morrissey

Chris grew up in the Twin Cities and had the great privilege of a Catholic education locally from elementary through high school. After moving to their current home in Edina in 2018, he and his wife Liz have been part of the OLG parish and have had the joy of watching their three boys – Michael (6) , Charlie (4) and William (2) – grow in the community. For all of them, OLG has been a place to nourish their faith, expand their minds and deepen their connections, with friends new and old.

Chris has spent the majority of his career in commercial real estate financing, encompassing analytics, sales and leadership. With his experience from such as well as his deep appreciation for all that OLG has provided his family and him, Chris looks forward to giving back to this community in whatever way he can, including serving on the Parish Pastoral Council.
