OPEN WINDOW THEATER is reopening in a NEW location in Inver Grove Heights!
Open Window's Redemption Season shows, The World Over and Tolkien, are powerful and poignant stories of love, loss, faith, and hope. The World Over, an epic story about the original goodness and beauty of the human person, is a regional premiere, and Tolkien, a new play about the friendship between J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, is a U.S. premiere, proving our commitment to bringing you outstanding stories of redemption that you haven't seen anywhere else.
We're also adding the monthly ANIMA Cultural Series, including Eric Genuis in concert on Sunday, February 16th at 6 p.m. (in partnership with Unity High School); free talks by Alexi Sargeant, Word on Fire Fellow Dr. Holly Ordway, and Tolkien playwright Ron Reed; and new film and play festivals. (Young adult filmmakers and playwrights can submit their work for free. Film submissions are open through February 10th at filmfreeway.com/redemptionfilmfestival, and play submissions are open through March 6th at owtnewplays@gmail.com.)
Open Window Theatre was founded in May 2011 for the purpose of bringing multigenerational professional theater with a redemptive vision to the Twin Cities. At Open Window Theatre we focus on a redemptive vision in the arts because we believe there's a crisis of hope and true beauty in today's world. Beauty is the purest glimpse we have of the Divine who is Beauty itself, leading Fyodor Dostoevsky to proclaim "beauty will save the world."
Tickets are $15-$32 and are now available online at openwindowtheatre.org or over the phone at 612-615-1515. We offer a 10% discount for groups 10+.
Thank You!

LIVE at The Harbor! Wrap-up
Hi all,
Happy Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time! (Alleluia!) Here is my short awaited reflection from Thursday (I thought the Gospel verse would be a nice closer):
Spending time with our spiritual “Father” is always a treat. Fr. Kevin shared with us the joy, the sacrifice, the laughter, and struggle of having a community of Believers. He said that whether you’re in a community of priests, or having a family, or even just a group of friends, true Christian relationships are grounded in willing the good of the other, even when it is hard.
“This is my commandment: love one another as I love you. No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you.” -John 15:12-14

Living In Love
A life-changing retreat workshop designed to energize the romance and renew the joy of being in love.
Living in Love offers liberating insight into how differently men and women prefer to achieve intimacy and helps couples get in touch with the resources that draw them to each other and fuel their romance. The retreat is a series of lively presentations from presenters who share personally from their own lives in order to illustrate the content of each exercise with practical, relevant, and inspirational real life examples that set the level of openness for the participants. The presentations are followed by private couple time and each exercise ends with a very brief communal prayer for the practical grace needed to be a better husband or wife. There is no large group discussion or open sharing. Although the atmosphere is full of fun and laughter, the content is engaging and insightful, and the experience is uniquely positive and life changing. Living in Love provides an extraordinary opportunity for married couples to reconnect with their own love history while gaining a joyful sense of hope, purpose and direction for the future.
The cost is $40 per couple and includes a light breakfast and catered lunch.
Brad and Libby Dupont work for the Archdiocese of Kansas City, KS in the Office for Marriage and Family life and will be leading the weekend.
