The Office of Marriage and Family Life of the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis invites couples married 0-7 years to this live, online workshop that will help you avoid misunderstanding, reconcile hurts and achieve an emotional connection even when you feel very differently!

FEBRUARY 6, 2021 ~ 9am-2:30pm

Live on Zoom (login provided upon registration). Recordings will be available throughout the day for registered couples who miss the live sessions.

Bonfire for Newly Married and Engaged Couples at the New Parish Rectory

Thursday, October 22nd 7:00PM

All newly Married (0-7yrs) and Engaged couples are invited to the backyard of New Parish Rectory to join Fr. Kevin and other couples for an evening bonfire and fellowship. Join other newly married couples for a night of hors d’oeuvres, craft beverages, and fellowship. Nell is the national Managing Editor of the women’s ministry, Blessed is She. Anthony is a partner at a law firm in downtown Minneapolis.

Our presenters are Nell and Anthony - they have been married for 10 years and blessed with four children. They are both attorneys. Anthony is a partner at a law firm in downtown Minneapolis and Nell is the Managing Editor for Blessed is She. They love encouraging and praying with other couples as they journey in their faith life together.

Living In Love
A life-changing retreat workshop designed to energize the romance and renew the joy of being in love.

Living in Love offers liberating insight into how differently men and women prefer to achieve intimacy and helps couples get in touch with the resources that draw them to each other and fuel their romance. The retreat is a series of lively presentations from presenters who share personally from their own lives in order to illustrate the content of each exercise with practical, relevant, and inspirational real life examples that set the level of openness for the participants. The presentations are followed by private couple time and each exercise ends with a very brief communal prayer for the practical grace needed to be a better husband or wife. There is no large group discussion or open sharing. Although the atmosphere is full of fun and laughter, the content is engaging and insightful, and the experience is uniquely positive and life changing. Living in Love provides an extraordinary opportunity for married couples to reconnect with their own love history while gaining a joyful sense of hope, purpose and direction for the future.

The cost is $40 per couple and includes a light breakfast and catered lunch.  

Brad and Libby Dupont work for the Archdiocese of Kansas City, KS in the Office for Marriage and Family life and will be leading the weekend.

Sposi Novelli- Practical Marriage Tips- Wrap up!

All engaged and newly married couples we invited to join Sposi Novelli for an exciting event featuring Dr. Daniel McClure who spoke on “Healthy Habits to Strengthen Your Marriage”. It was a great night to meet up with old friends, make new ones, and learn some great tips to help strengthen your marriage! Thank you to all who came, AND keep an eye out for more information on our End-of-the-year- BBQ in May!

Dr. McClure graduated from the University of St Thomas and received his M.S. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Divine Mercy University’s Institute of Psychological Sciences in Arlington, Virginia. Dr. McClure currently is in practice in St Paul. He wants to integrate his Catholic faith with the field of clinical psychology. He and his wife Lucy live in the Twin Cities.

Celebrate Marriage Retreat

Join us for an evening with your spouse to celebrate marriage! We will gather for, Mass with blessing of marriage, dinner, and a talk by  Jim and Maureen Otremba. The event is open to all married couples of any length of marriage. It will include wine, conversation, chocolate and quality time with your loved one. Don’t miss it!

The cost for the evening is $50 per couple.

Sposi Novelli "Minute-to-win-it!" Wrap-up!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the “Minute-to-win-it” Date Night! 

On November 30th , Sposi Novelli hosted a "Minute-to-win-it" Game night with a Christmas theme! There were cookies, hot chocolate, and appetizers that helped to keep us fueled while we competed in some fun games! Ugly sweaters WERE encouraged, ANNNND  everyone looked AMAZING!
