William J. McGlone, Jr. of Edina passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025 at the age of 92. Born and raised in south Minneapolis to parents William and Marie,
Bill graduated from Washburn High School and then went on to the University of Minnesota where he joined the Kappa Sigma fraternity. After graduation he worked at Campbell Mithun where he met the love of his life, Carol Ruedy who soon became his wife. He spent the majority of his working life at 3M, which allowed him to travel the world and spend significant time with colleagues working at the AT&T Pebble Beach Golf Tournament, providing him with countless cherished memories. Bill understood the value of meaningful friendships and found them wherever he went. He was regularly in touch with people from his schools, his jobs and his church, Our Lady of Grace, where he attended daily mass.
Even after retirement while walking the Galleria and having his daily Starbucks, he made loyal new friends who stuck by his side for the rest of his life. He loved the sunshine and wintering in Arizona. He loved working in his impeccable yard. But above all, he loved spending time with his family. His sincere warmth and generous spirit will be deeply missed but serves as a lesson to those who knew him.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Mary (Mark) Wooldridge and Sally (Steve) Schmitz, grandchildren, Tommy & Matt Wooldridge, Danny (Elise) Schmitz & Abbey (Luke) Sahly, great-grandchildren, June Schmitz & Shepherd Sahly; sister, Kay Hullett; brother, Patrick McGlone; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff at English Rose and Grace Hospice for the loving care they showed to Bill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cathedral of the Pines Camp.
Visitation will be at 10:00 AM prior to the celebration of life service. Private interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery,
Ann Ragozzino Funeral

With hearts full of love, sorrow, and deep gratitude, we share the peaceful passing of Ann Ragozzino on April 17, 2025—just five days shy of her 98th birthday. Ann lived a long, joyful, and deeply meaningful life, grounded in her unwavering Catholic faith, devoted to her family, and marked by grace, humility, and quiet strength.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Ann’s love for family, community, and the church was nurtured from an early age. She embraced the values of compassion, service, and faith passed down through her heritage and spiritual upbringing. Her Catholic faith remained her compass and comfort throughout her life.
Ann was married for 64 loving years to her beloved deceased husband, Tony. She is survived by her children Mark (Karen), Mary Jo (Brad Beisel), Paul (Linda Henneman), Lisa (Mark Hadley), and Will (Luciane Maia); her grandchildren Brad (Catherine), Lia (Jen), Nika Hadley (Max Shaulis), and Mario Hadley (Julia Hadley); and her great-grandchildren Daniel, Braylee, and Reagan Ragozzino, and Haven Hadley. Her family was her greatest joy, and her legacy of love lives on in each of them.
Faith was the cornerstone of Ann’s life—something she lived every day. Her kindness to others, generosity toward those in need, and steadfast devotion to her family and community were quiet but powerful reflections of her faith. She was an active member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Edina, Minnesota, and found joy and fellowship through the Genesis and Saint Francis Guilds.
Ann’s home was a sanctuary—filled with warmth, conversation, laughter, tradition, and the aromas of home-cooked meals. She taught generations how to live with grace: how to plant a garden, feed the birds, care for the earth, and most importantly, how to love selflessly and unconditionally.
She will be missed more than words can express, but we find comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of our Lord, joyfully reunited with those who went before her.
Visitation one hour prior to the Mass of Christian burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann’s memory to Catholic Medical Mission Board or League of Women Voters.
David Gengler Funeral

Dave Gengler, 83, passed away on February 6, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, uncle, great-uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Dave was born on May 17, 1941 to Jeanette and Arnold Gengler in Plainview, MN where he spent his childhood on the family farm.
After graduating from Plainview High School he went on to serve in the Army with the Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. After his discharge, he attended Rochester Junior Community College and then finished his Bachelor's of Science in Business at Mankato State University. After graduating, he began a 31 year career with IDS Financial Services/Ameriprise in downtown Minneapolis. Throughout his career, he was proud of his attention to detail, problem solving and persistence for customers, and a contagious sense of humor on the job.
But more than anything, Dave was a loving father and husband. He enjoyed cheering on his kids and grandkids whatever they were doing from sports to academics to career moves - he was a proud father and grandfather and would tell anyone who would listen about them. He was always there to offer a pearl of wisdom, teach them something new, or just encourage them on their next endeavor whatever that might be.
In his free time, Dave enjoyed gardening, woodworking, fixing things around his house, and quietly helping neighbors, friends and community members. He was an outgoing guy who loved chatting with whoever was around, often with a story or a joke to make them laugh. He was a man of many facial expressions to punctuate a joke that was just over the line - he loved to get a reaction and get people laughing.
Dave is survived by his wife, Jan, his children, Ben Gengler (Deanna) and Katrina Mezera (Rob), and his 6 grandchildren Sophia, Isaiah, Lillianne, Walter, Jackson, and Natalie, his sisters Rita Gengler and Lyn Mussaleum (Bob) and brother John Gengler (Rita), and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Arnold and Jeanette Gengler, his siblings Earl, Richard, James, Paul, Gerald, and Jerome Gengler and Virgina Lee.
A visitation will be the hour prior funeral service. A visitation will also be held on April 9th from 4 - 7 PM at Washburn-Mcreavy Funeral Chapel in Edina, Minnesota. Internment Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Joachim Cemetery in Plainview, MN.

Jim Seidel Funeral

It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, golf partner, basketball teammate, and friend, James A. Seidel (“Jim Senior”) of Edina, MN. Jim was born December 8, 1932 and peacefully entered eternal life March 4, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Lucia; parents Richard and Miriam; and 11 siblings. He is survived by his biggest fan and son, Jim (Annie); treasured granddaughters Maggie and Molly, sister, Katy (David) Mechtenberg, and numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
Jim was a devoted husband, an exceptional father and friend to his son Jim, wonderful father-in-law, and deeply dedicated grandfather. Jim was born in Chicago, lived in several cities as a child before the Seidel family moved to St. Paul when Jim was in 5th grade, and made one more move to Minneapolis while he was in high school. Jim graduated from St. Luke’s grade school in St. Paul in 1946, St. Thomas Academy in 1950, and St. Thomas College in 1954. Jim and Lucia Louise Carlin were married in 1958, lived in Minneapolis, and then moved to Edina in 1970. Jim began his career at U.S. Bank (then First Bank), and served two years in the U.S. Army. In 1963, Jim joined Great West Life insurance company where he worked for the rest of his career. Many recall Jim as an All-State basketball player on two St. Thomas Academy State Catholic Championship teams, and as the six-time Men’s Club Champion golfer at his cherished Minikahda Club. Jim was an avid reader, close follower of Minnesota high school, college, and professional sports, and current events. Jim’s life was marked by steadfast faith in God, love for the Catholic Church and the sacraments, a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother as a daily devotee of the Rosary for most of his life, and as a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.
Jim’s warm smile, deep gratitude for the many blessings in his life, internal strength, and the joy and love he had for family and lifelong friends will be appreciated forever. Jim was content throughout his entire life, including when he passed at The Glenn in Hopkins in his recliner, not long after attending daily Mass, concluding a life well lived, and a race exceedingly well run.

Noel Rahn Funeral

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Noel P. Rahn, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on February 14, 1939, in Mountain Lake, Minnesota, to Peter and Helen Rahn, Noel lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and love.
Noel was a devoted and loving husband to Angelina Rahn for 57 years. Together, they built a beautiful family, which Noel cherished deeply. He is survived by their four children: Angelina (Brian), with children Jack, Nick, and Gabby Lawton; Noel (Sara), with children Noel II, Sophia, and Eva Rahn; Mark (Rachel), with children Alijandra and Mark Rahn; and Adriana (Jamiel), with children Isabella, Valentina, Andrew, and Daniella Akhtar. Noel also leaves behind his sister JoAnn (Tom) Becker and brother Scott (Robin) Rahn. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Angelina Rahn, his parents, Peter and Helen Rahn, his brother, Dr. Dennis Rahn, and his sister, Jannath Dwight.
Noel was a visionary businessman and a passionate advocate for economic development. As Chairman of The Rahn Group and Founder & Chairman of the Board of Geronimo Energy, he brought invaluable expertise to the venture capital and renewable energy industries. One of his greatest achievements was his visionary role in developing a wind farm on his family's land in 2003, recognizing the potential of alternative energy to revitalize rural America. This led to the founding of Geronimo Energy in 2005. Prior to his work with The Rahn Group and Geronimo Energy, Noel served as Chairman and CEO of Investment Advisers, Inc. (IAI). Noel Rahn attended the University of Minnesota, where he played varsity basketball, before transferring to the University of Southern California (USC), where he proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Noel's roots were firmly planted in his Christian faith and the rural life he loved. He grew up farming in southwest Minnesota and continued to farm up until his passing. Noel was a man of deep Christian faith and had a strong relationship with God. He made sure to instill those values in his children, every weekend, without fail, Noel took his kids to church, fostering a strong foundation of faith. His unwavering commitment to his Christianity, his agricultural roots and his business ventures reflected his dedication to his family, community, and country.
Known for his inquisitive nature and deep care for those around him, Noel had a remarkable ability to connect with people. His genuine interest in others, always asking thoughtful questions and his willingness to listen and offer support made him a true friend to all. Whether hosting Sunday pool days, family dinners, or just sharing time with loved ones, Noel loved entertaining at his home. He cherished family time.
Noel's generosity, loyalty, and belief in the power of perseverance left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. His legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family and friends will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service.

Peter Stolz Funeral

On February 27, 2025, Peter Michael Stolz of Blaine, MN passed away peacefully after fighting a long and hard battle over the last five years with end-stage renal failure.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Claire Stolz, father-in-law, Roger Gerhardson, and nephew Kai Gerhardson.
Peter graduated from St. Louis Park High School and continued his education at St. John’s University. In 2009 he married Rita, his high school sweetheart, and immediately became a father of two beautiful girls, Riley, and Katrina. He was so proud of the girls and enjoyed coaching them in soccer, teaching religion classes, and cheering them on in all their other activities. He loved scary movies, reading, playing games, and spending time at the cabin with family. Peter was a great cook and genuinely enjoyed sharing his culinary creations with others! His smart wit and banter will be deeply missed.
In his final days, Peter found peace in going home to his Lord and surrounded himself with those closest to him sharing stories, laughter, and tears, leaving us with memories to comfort us today, tomorrow, and years ahead.
He is survived by his wife, Rita; daughters Riley and Katrina; brother Robb; sister Suzanne (Jeremy Butler), nieces Nicola and Pippa; mother-in-law Joan Gerhardson; sister-in-law Sheri Gerhardson; sister-in-law Sue Blank (Dan); nieces Danielle and Elisa; great nephew Mateo; brother-in-law Rick Gerhardson (Lori); nephew Chris and niece Jackie; Exchange student Pablo Estebanez; and many cousins and dear friends.
