Support OLG by Shopping with Amazon Smile!

Prepare for the upcoming Amazon Prime Days on Monday, July 15 and Tuesday, July 16 by signing up for AmazonSmile and a portion of your purchase price will go to supporting OLG!

What is AmazonSmile?

AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support charitable organizations such as Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and School every time you shop, at no cost to you.

When you shop at smile.amazon.com, you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and School.

How do I shop at AmazonSmile?

To shop at AmazonSmile simply go to smile.amazon.com from the web browser on your computer or mobile device. You may also want to add a bookmark to AmazonSmile to make it even easier to return and start your shopping at AmazonSmile.

How do I select Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and School as the charitable organization I support when shopping on AmazonSmile?

On your first visit to AmazonSmile, you need to select "Our Lady of Grace" as the charitable organization to receive donations from your eligible purchases before you begin shopping. AmazonSmile will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make on AmazonSmile will result in a donation.

Which products on AmazonSmile are eligible for charitable donations?

Tens of millions of products on AmazonSmile are eligible for donations. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages. Recurring Subscribe-and-Save purchases and subscription renewals are not currently eligible.

Can I use my existing Amazon.com account on AmazonSmile?

Yes, you use the same account on Amazon.com and AmazonSmile. Your shopping cart, Wish List, wedding or baby registry, and other account settings are also the same.

How much of my purchase does Amazon donate?

The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases. The purchase price is the amount paid for the item minus any rebates and excluding shipping & handling, gift-wrapping fees, taxes, or service charges.

Donations for Honduras

We are very excited that a group of parishioners led by Fr. Kevin will head to Honduras to visit our sister parish, San Maximiliano Kolbe, in less than a month! We hope that you join in the excitement by donating a ball pump, soccer balls, volleyballs, frisbees, rosaries (for adults and children) or craft supplies that we can bring with us. Please bring any items for donation to Melissa Miller in the Parish Office, ATTN: San Max.

A huge thank you to all who already donated their used soccer gear to be used by the youth of San Max. As you can see from the pictures, the kids are putting the gear to good use.  They love having these uniforms when they play in their soccer leagues.

Approximately 91,000 Minnesotans age 65+ are living with Alzheimer's. ‘Dementia Friends’ Information Sessions give people an understanding of dementia and the small things you can do that make a difference. Dementia Friends is the biggest ever initiative to change people’s perceptions of dementia. It aims to transform the way we think, talk and act about the disease. Beryl Schewe, Director of Pastoral Care and an ALZ Dementia Champion, will lead our discussion. Free and open to the public. A light lunch will be served! Bring a friend! Please contact Beryl Schewe at berylschewe@olgparish.org or in the Parish Office (x9035) to register.

Eucharistic Adoration

DSC_6423.jpg

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is a powerful opportunity for spiritual growth. The MHT Adoration Chapel is open 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Jesus invites us to come and pray, meditate, journal, read. Thank him, ask him or just gaze upon him truly present in the Eucharist. Come for a few minutes or register for a regular hour.

We need at least two committed adorers for each hour to insure that there will always be at least one adorer present. We cannot leave the Blessed Sacrament alone. We encourage you to prayerfully consider a weekly commitment - taking the first step is often the hardest.

Register at adorationpro.org/grace by picking any hour that fits your schedule.

If you are able and willing to commit to a regular hour go to to signup. Pick any hour but we especially need:

Archdiocesan Synod

2019 Synod Wrapup.jpg

This Pentecost (June 8 – 9, 2019), the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis will begin a Synod process. The goal of the Archdiocesan Synod is to help Archbishop Hebda discern, through a consultative process, the pastoral priorities of our local Church today – and into the near future.

Your participation, as the Catholic faithful, is key to a successful Synod. You are invited to participate by offering your prayers, pastoral concerns, and ideas for moving this Archdiocese forward.

Prayer and listening sessions will be offered at parishes across the archdiocese. Our Lady of Grace will be hosting one of these sessions on Thursday, February 27, 6:00 – 9:00 PM.

For more information and a complete list of dates and locations, please visit the archdiocesan website, or click the button below.
