Holy Hour for Vocation

February 11, 2020
7–8 p.m.
Church of St. Michael, Farmington
All people of the Archdiocese are invited to participate in the Holy Hours for Vocations, a program sponsored by the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. The Holy Hours for Vocations take place at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at another parish in the Archdiocese. Come spend an hour with Jesus each month to pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood, consecrated life, diaconate and holy marriages. Vianney Visit

February 14 - 16, St. John Vianney College Seminary, St. Paul
Vianney Visit provides high school sophomores through college age men (ages 16 – 24) the opportunity to take a closer look and experience college seminary. Attend Mass, prayer and spiritual conferences with SJV priests and hear testimonies from SJV seminarians. There is no charge for the event. All meals are provided. Archbishop Bernard Hebda and Father David Blume, Director of Vocations, invite men discerning the priesthood, ages 16 – 50, to dinner and conversation with vocations testimonials on priesthood and religious life. It is typical for a pastor, religious or youth minister to accompany each discerning guest. Register online at 10000vocations.org before March 2. Come for an evening of prayer and dinner with consecrated women sharing their vocations testimonies. Home for the Summer

Home for the Summer is a Catholic summer household experience for women who are interested in discerning their vocation while living in community for 8 weeks.  This summer program is for women who are college age up to 27. Quo Vadis Youth Vocation Camps – Registration is Open!

July 19 – 22: Quo Vadis Camp for Young Men at Kiwanis Camp
July 19 – 22 : Quo Vadis Camp for Young Women at Dunrovin Retreat Center

Each session begins on Sunday afternoon with Mass and concludes on Wednesday after lunch. The camp includes Mass, prayer, talks, field trips to visit religious communities, confession, rosary along with lots of fun and outdoor recreation, including kayaking, wall climbing, hikes and campfires! Quo Vadis is a camp experience for youth ages 14-17 to learn that nothing is more important than discovering God’s will for your life – and living it! Space is limited.
