Please join us for a Baccalaureate Mass celebrating our graduating Seniors! All area high school graduates and their families are welcome on Wednesday, August 12th at the 5:30PM Mass.

This will be a Catholic mass but anyone from any faith background in area schools is welcome to participate. After Mass there will be a small reception with a special gift for seniors and door prizes of dorm room must have!  

This will be a memorable evening for all and send our youth off to their next adventure covered in the prayers of our parish family.

Laudato Si’ Week: May 16-24
Laudato si’, the Pope’s encyclical letter on care for our common home will soon be marking its 5th anniversary of publication. This is the perfect time to coordinate a small group or individual study of that letter and learn how we can all become better stewards of all of God’s creation.

“Minnesota, Our Common Home” is a easy to understand resource from the Minnesota Catholic Conference, which translates the teachings of Laudato si’, into a local context. It proposes that our identity in Christ is one that is woven into a fabric of relationships—with God, with our bodies, with our families, with our communities, and, indeed, all of creation. Fostering right relationships is the essence of what our popes call “integral ecology,” and the document invites all people of good will to consider how these principles apply in their daily lives as sons and daughters of God.

“Minnesota, Our Common Home” is a great educational resource that can be studied from the comfort of your own home. It can be used individually, by families, or even by teachers who are looking for content to provide to their students who are learning at a distance.

Earth Day Program

Check out this great opportunity from the Archdiocese!

With all of us responding to COVID-19, Earth Day is coming at such a wonderful time. The Archdiocesan Care for Creation Team is planning its first event on Earth Day. Spend the day in nature: take a walk, bicycle, jog and enjoy the marvelous gift of nature. Of course, remember to observe social distancing as recommended by the CDC. Then at the end of the day, join fellow Catholics for a prayer vigil via Zoom. We look forward to seeing everyone and take the opportunity to enjoy Earth Day!

Who is God? Series

The mere mention of the word “Father” can stir a wide range of emotions: from security and joy to pain and resentment. Many teens today have fathers who are absent—either physically or emotionally. Some have never even met their biological fathers, and others may wish they hadn’t— because of the physical or emotional pain inflicted on them. How can these we trust or believe in a Heavenly Father when maybe our experience of our earthly fathers has been so negative? In this study we’ll begin to unwrap the mystery surrounding God the Father by taking a look at our deeply embedded image of what a “good” father is—and then we’ll learn how deeply God longs for us and waits for us to surrender our hearts to Him.

It's that time of year again! Time for the OLG Fish Fry!

We would love to have your support again this year at the Men's Club Annual Fish Fry TBD There are lots of opportunities to help out throughout the event! We need everyone on board to make this the best Fish Fry EVER!

There are two shifts that you can volunteer for:
1st Shift: 4:00PM- 6:15PM

2nd Shift:  5:45PM- 8:00PM

Volunteers will get a t-shirt again this year, BUT supplies are limited so get your friends together and sign up soon! Thank your in advance for your help with the Fish Fry and we will see you on April 5th
