EFC Final Forms and Information

Greetings all! 

Summer is almost HERE- which means EFC is almost here! 

At OLG we will have a preparation-information meeting with the participants, Middle School and High School, and their parents on Wednesday, May 22nd from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in the Frassati Room (OLG Youth Room). This would be a GREAT time to turn in the final forms for EFC. 

There will be also a training day with both High School and adult leaders on Saturday 15th from 8am (Mass) until noon.

LifeNight

LifeNight's are a mixture of faith and fun, and are open to everyone who is in high school! Each LifeNight has a fun game, a testimony or teaching about a different topic of our faith, discussion, and closing prayer.

At LifeNights you will be able to talk about a variety of issues and experiences with friends and young adult leaders so that together you can grow in faith and discover how a relationship with God will help you have the best life possible! This is an incredible time to connect with friends and God in the midst of our busy lives. See more.....

Greetings everyone! 

Last night we discussed what it means to become a Saint!

We started off with doing Lectio Divino on the Parable of the Sower,and then went right to business with a video from Father Mike Schmidt. Father Mike said" God wants you to be holy, so he is going to set you on a path of purification if you choose to do his will. He is the one who is going to make you holy. This process is going to strip away many things you hold dear. It’s going to require active participation in his will, doing what is right and good. But it’s also going to require passive acceptance of things that are out of your control. See everything you do and experience as a chance to grow in holiness, and God will make you into a saint."
