Marissa is excited to dive deeper into the Liturgy with you all! She has been a parishioner at OLG since the summer of 2020 and loves the community here. She has been involved in Faith Formation, Youth Ministry, and Young Professional Ministry and is excited to get to know the rest of the parish. She was a sacristan prior to her role as Director of Liturgy; as a sacristan she was able to dive deep into the Liturgy and foster her love for the Mass. Marissa went to Saint Louis University where she studied Biomedical Engineering. After college she worked in the medical device industry both in engineering and sales. She was born in Woodbury, MN and moved to Ave Maria, FL for middle school and high school. She grew up going to Catholic school and has seen the mass celebrated in many beautiful ways! Marissa is the oldest of four and loves to spend time playing ultimate frisbee, board games, and listening to podcasts.
